Understanding Neurodivergence

A four-session parent workshop by Candid Psychology, facilitated by Madison Moore.

Support. Clarity. Confidence. Connection.

Raising a neurodivergent child can be joyful, confusing, and overwhelming - often all at once. This four-session workshop has been created to help parents understand their child’s brain, behaviour, and needs through a compassionate, neuro-affirming lens.

Across four gentle, practical sessions, you’ll explore:

  • How the brain develops and why children behave the way they do

  • What autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and specific learning disorders look like in everyday life

  • How to support your child through meltdowns and stress responses

  • How to build co-regulation, self-regulation, and sustainable parent self-care

This workshop is designed for parents and caregivers who want clarity, confidence, and practical tools they can use at home.

  • Our Understanding Neurodevelopmental Disorders workshop is $400 per person - which works out to be $100 per session!

Payment is required upfront, before the workshop begins.

This includes a resource pack, valued at $50!
